History
Founded in 1924, Blackthorn Reach High School served grades 7–12 and was the sole secondary school for the town. The campus housed an academic building, gymnasium, performing arts auditorium, agricultural sciences facilities and athletic fields.
Campus and Programs
The school supported vocational and agricultural education alongside a traditional academic curriculum. Students participated in community events and the campus served as a local gathering place for festivals and performances.
Athletics
The school's teams were known as the Blackthorn Ravens and competed in football, basketball, track and field, wrestling and baseball. High school athletics were a focal point of local community life.
Closure
Operations ceased in late February 2029 following the federal evacuation. Portions of the campus were used temporarily by investigators and researchers documenting early PTPS cases; the buildings remain abandoned as of the last reports.
